(Fort Wayne, IN) - The Concordia Volleyball team headed down to Fort Wayne, IN on Wednesday to square off against the Indiana Institute of Technology for a conference match. Indiana Tech is the #10th ranked team in the NAIA and on Wednesday they showed why. The Cards had a tough match, losing 3-0 (12-25, 17-25, and 15-25). The Cards played well defensively, but were unable to convert offensive chances due to the strong Tech defense. Danielle Guss led the Cards with 6 points with 12 assists coming from Adrienne Kanitz. Ali Miller and Ashley Maynard also had 2 points apiece for the Lady Cards. The Cardinals will take a break from conference play to host the Concordia Ann Arbor Invitational this weekend. The Cards will play at 5:00 and 7:00pm on Friday, and 11:00am and 1:00pm on Saturday in the Concordia University Gymnasium. Come show some support for our volleyball team!
