(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Volleyball Team hosted the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday night for their second conference match of the season. It was an exciting match, taking four closely-contested sets to decide. The Cards got out to a good start, winning the first set 25-22. But luck was not on their side, and the Cards would fall short on the next three sets, (25-23, 25-21, 25-20) losing the match 3-1. Despite the final score, the Cards put up a good fight, staying within 5 points in every set. The Racers are a very good team and are definitely a top tier team in the WHAC so the Cardinals definitely are within striking difference. Ashley Hart led the Cards with an outstanding 22 points, with 44 assists from sophomore Adrienne Kanitz. The Lady Cards will look to get back on track this weekend when the travel to Adrian, MI to play in the Adrian College Quad. Best of luck ladies!
