(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Volleyball team hosted Lawrence Technological University on Monday and got the result they were looking for, winning all three sets 25-16, 25-22, 25-19. Leading the way for the Cards were Danielle Guss and Ashley Hart, with 9 and 13 kills respectively. Sophomore Adrienne Kanitz had 27 assists for the match and Shannon Pietruszka kept the Lady Cards alive with 16 digs. Ashley Maynard was also impressive for the Cards with 5 kills and 2 blocks for 7 points. This win brings the Lady Cards' season record to 8-5, a strong start to a promising season. The Cardinals will begin conference play today, Wednesday, September 21st at Davenport University. Keep up the good work ladies!
