(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia University Women's Lacrosse team has announced the signing of Alyssa Lundy from Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana.
Alyssa is from Osceola, IN and is an attacker for the Penn High School girl's lacrosse team in Mishawaka, IN. She has played for a high level club program, Circle City club team based out of Indianapolis, IN. She is very energetic and eager to join the Women's Lacrosse team at Concordia University Ann Arbor.
Coach Amanda Asher is looking forward to the addition of Lundy, stating: "We are excited to add Alyssa our team next year. Alyssa is a skilled energetic player who never quits on a play. With her club experience and talented stick work in the attacking end, Alyssa will provide a spark of energy on the offensive end. Alyssa's energy and knowledge of the game will make her a great addition to our program."
Matt Lundy, father of Alyssa Lundy, adds "I knew after meeting Coach Asher, Alyssa was going to be in good hands for the next four years." Coach Asher was very interested in Alyssa, not only as a player but as a person."
Alyssa Lundy added "I knew Concordia University Ann Arbor was the place for me after I met Coach Asher, walked the campus with my family, and when I returned for my overnight. The girls took me in right away and I couldn't have felt more comfortable and apart of the group! They were all so nice and welcoming to me. I'm hoping together we can achieve my goals; that being a national championship. I thank Coach Asher for this opportunity and I'm extremely blessed to come and play at Concordia University Ann Arbor. I'm very excited to pursue my next level of education at Concordia University Ann Arbor. Can't wait to see what's in store, GO CARDS!"
