(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia University Women's Lacrosse team has announced the signing of Amanda Archer, transferring from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan.
Archer is a Goalie originally from Brighton High School girls' lacrosse team and had played her freshman year of college lacrosse at Tiffin University based out of Tiffin, OH.
Coach Amanda Asher is looking forward to the addition of Archer, stating: " I coached against Amanda when she played at Brighton high school and her skill level in goal was evident, but what I've learned the past couple of years as Amanda has coached goalies for the Michigan Wave club program is that Amanda is a great student of the game and has an incredible lacrosse IQ. The combination of her skill, athleticism, and ability to think the game in cage will make her a game-changing player on our defensive end and open up a lot of options for us in transition. I look forward to adding Amanda to our team this coming fall."
Amanda Archer added "I chose Concordia not only for their nursing program but because the staff encourages each individual to be successful on and off the field which means a-lot to me. I am excited to once again continue my lacrosse career and bring my hardworking and dedication to this team."
