Amber Steiner commits to Women's Lacrosse
(Ann Arbor, MI) The Concordia University Women's Lacrosse team has announced the signing of Amber Steiner from Plymouth High School in Canton, Michigan.
Steiner is an attacker for the Plymouth High School girls' lacrosse team and has played club lacrosse for the Triumph club program based out of Plymouth, MI. Amber, will join her sister Cierra Steiner, on the team, and this will be the first set of sisters to join the team in program history.
Coach Amanda Asher is looking forward to the addition of Steiner, stating: "We are excited to add Amber our team next year. Amber is a skilled lefty who never quits on a play. Through her talented stick work in the attacking end, Amber will provide a spark of energy on the offensive end. Amber's lacrosse IQ and offensive skillset will make her a great addition to our program."
Steiner's high school coach, Jake Wieloch, added, "Amber has worked hard to become the best player she can be. She is a joy to coach and I am sure she will do great things in her college campaign."
Amber Steiner, added "My older sister introduced me to lacrosse and this lovely University! I can't wait to be a part of a new team and learn more about this place and the people in it, everyone has been so sweet and eager to help me achieve my goals! You won't find anywhere more supportive than Concordia University and I can't wait to attend school and play lacrosse there in the fall."
