USF added to their lead on the first drive of the second quarter. The Cougars orchestrated an eight minute possession with 17 plays for 78 yards resulting in a 28-yard field goal.

After a pair of unsuccessful Cardinal drives, the University of Saint Francis put 7 more on the board just before the half. This time the Cougars drove 52 yards in 9 plays. At the end of the second quarter, the score was 17-0.

USF added two more quick scores to start the third and pull away with a 30-0 lead.

Steele and Turner connected once again in the fourth with 5:52 left in the game. The possession went for 86 yards in 17 plays before the score. Both teams would exchange possessions for the rest of the game, and end with a final score of Saint Francis 30, Concordia 14.

Steele led the Cardinal offense with 180 yards through the air with 2 touchdowns, both to Turner. On the ground, freshman Seth Suida (FR/Livonia, MI) gained 54 yards on 14 carries.
