(ANN ARBOR, Mich.) -- Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Oliva Chote' from Garden City, Mich.
Olivia will join Concordia from Lutheran Westland where she played under direction of Kelsey Ramthun. Chote' was the setter for the Warriors and earned two varsity letters in volleyball while being named team captain her senior year and earning 1st Team All-Conference. "Olivia has worked very hard to get to where she is today" said high school coach Kelsey Ramthun. "She's a dedicated leader who understands what it means to be a teammate. I cannot wait to watch her time at Concordia unfold and see all of the big plans God has in store for her."
Olivia is the daughter of Marcee Chote' and has two siblings; Chloe and Faith. She plans to pursue a degree in nursing while at Concordia. "I feel extremely proud and excited for the new journey that you will begin" said Olivia's mom, Marcee.
"We are excited for Olivia to be a part of our volleyball program" said Head Coach Danielle Cook. "She has a teammate first mentality that Concordia volleyball is all about. We are looking forward to seeing Olivia grow and develop as a player and young lady."
