(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Genna Brink from Akron-Fairgrove High School.
Genna will join the Cardinals from Fairgrove, MI where she played high school for Head Coach Terri Schulz. Brink played middle and outside hitter for Akron-Fairgrove and was named Team MVP in 2016 and earned 1st Team All-Conference Honors in 2016 and 2017. She also played club volleyball for the Mid-Michigan Magic. Genna's high school coach Terri Schulz complimented her work ethic saying "Genna demonstrated a strong work ethic and dedication to her team during her 3 years of varsity."
Genna is the daughter of Todd Brink Sr. and Lisa Stricker and has one brother, Todd Brink Jr. She plans to study psychology while at Concordia.
"We are excited to have Genna be a part of our program. She is a very coachable player and our staff is excited to work with her during her college career" said Head Coach Danielle Cook.
