(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Emily Belinsky from Bear Lake High School.
Emily hails from Beulah, MI where she attended Bear Lake High School. Belinsky played defensive specialist for the Lakers under direction of Renee Mallison. She also played club volleyball for North Shore. "Emily will be a great addition to the Concordia team" said her high school head coach Renee Mallison. "She set a goal to play at the collegiate level and worked hard on her skills as a libero all season and off-season to accomplish that aspiration."
Emily was named to the Academic All-State team as well as being named All-Conference Honorable Mention while at Bear Lake.
"Emily will be a great addition to this team that will bring the hard work and drive to compete in practice and in the game" Danielle Cook added.
She is the daughter of Michael and Denise Belinsky and has three siblings; Michael, Elizabeth, and Zachary. Emily plans to study Biology while attending Concordia.
