(Fort Wayne, IN) - Concordia women's hockey traveled to #6 Indiana Tech to wrap up their weekend series.  The Cardinals fought hard against a strong opponent but fell 3-0.   

 

Eva Kingston played the full game in net with 33 saves.  Mallory Collins won the opening faceoff of the game.  Indiana Tech struck first with a goal at the 7:08 mark.  Both teams traded power play opportunities and CUAA trailed 1-0 after the first period. 

 

The Cardinals weathered an early Indiana Tech attack with Eva Kingston staying sharp in net.  CUAA had a 5-on-3 chance on the powerplay with Emma Shore taking a one-timer for a solid chance and Skylar Croft ringing a shot off the post.  However, Indiana Tech was able to add two goals for a 3-0 lead after two periods. 

 

Both teams held strong defensively in the third period.  The Cardinals kept battling but the Warriors came away with the 3-0 win. 

 

Concordia will return home this Friday, November 1st, to host University of Michigan Dearborn at 8:30pm in the Arctic Edge in Canton, Michigan.
