(Ann Arbor, MI) Head Coach Danielle Cook and the Concordia University volleyball team have announced the addition of Paige Staton from Canton, Michigan.
Paige will join Concordia from Lutheran Westland High School where she played under the direction of coach Moody. While at Lutheran Westland, Staton was an Outside Hitter and also played for Legacy National Elite the past five years. Playing both soccer and volleyball at Lutheran Westland, Staton was named Lutheran Westland's 2020-21 Christian Female Athlete of the Year. A captain since her sophomore season, Paige was named All-Conference First Team and All-Academic in both her final two seasons.
Paige is the daughter of Glen and Teresa, and has one brother, Brandon. Staton plans to study Elementary Education while at Concordia.
"We are excited for Paige to join the CUAA volleyball family," said head coach Danielle Cook. "Paige is a versatile player that is an aggressive attacker as well as a scrappy defensive player. We look forward to seeing Paige grow as a player and young woman these next four years!"
