(Brighton, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals men's golf team returned to play on Monday afternoon for the Cleary University Golf Invite and saw solid success as they placed second out of the seven teams with a total score of 316, tying them with Lourdes.
The team score of 316 is the eighth lowest mark in program history.
CUAA SCORES
Gibson Wilke and Andrew Sweitzer both finished the round tied at 75 with five other golfers, but it was WIlke who came out on top of the leaderboard following a scorecard playoff as he won with a birdie on hole 10.
Jack Burnett was the next Cardinal with a score of 79 and finished in 12th place, while Zakary Schroeder finished with an 87. The final Cardinal to compete was Jack Kallsen who scored a 94.
