WHAC CHAMPIONSHIP PREVIEW: Women's Cross Country set to compete at the WHAC Championships

(Ann Arbor, MI) - The Concordia Cardinals Women's Cross Country team will head to Grand Rapids, Michigan to compete at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Championships on Friday, November 8.

LAST YEAR AT WHAC

The Cardinals placed 10th at the event last season, scoring 294 points. Macee Ripke led the team with a time of 27:14.

 

THIS YEAR

Several Cardinals have earned personal bests this season as they were able to qualify for the NCCAA National Championships next week. Michaela Kurth leads the team this season with a time of 21:32. 

 

Eight Cardinals will run at the event on Friday, including Macee Ripke, Michaela Kurth, Amanda Fogo, Grace Finley, Rachael Byers, Chloe Gunter, Alison Doerr, and Jenna Oberly.

Cornerstone is ranked #16 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll, while Aquinas is receiving votes in the recent poll.
