Laura was a four-year member of the equestrian team at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. She was also a three-year member of the girl's soccer team at Pioneer and was named an Ann Arbor News Top Scholar Athlete senior season. Laura was the recipient of the Concordia Presidential Scholarship.
