(June 12, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia track and cross country teams received a boost of experince as Steven Lestock has signed with the Cardinal programs after spending a year at Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio.

Levstock spent four years as a member of the Meadowbrook High School outdoor track squad as well as the school's cross country team. In addition, Lestock ran for three years on the indoor track team as a prep. Lestock was either a captain or co-captain on all three squads he was a member of in high school. Upon graduation, Lestock ran for one season at Walsh on their cross country team.

Lestock and his family are members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Zanesville, Ohio. A Pre-Seminary major, Lestock will minor in youth ministry with the goal of one daybecoming a pastor and youth leader.
