(May 23, 2008 - Ann Arbor, Mich.) -- The Concordia men's track head coach wasted little time building the program as Steve Montgomery signed his first recruit this week as he inked Jordon Muschiana of Frankenmuth High School.

Muschiana, who has run for the Frankenmuth track program for four years, has been the squad's captain the last two. This year he qualified for the state meet in the 300-meter hurdles. In previous years, Muschiana was selected as All-Conference in the 110m high hurdles and the 300m intermediates, twice each.

In addition to his time on the track, Muschiana also was a two-year member of the high school wrestling team.

Muschiana, son of Richard and Stephanie, has four brothers, Rick, Matt, Dan and Alecio. The Muschiana's attend St. Martin Church in Birch Run.
